Currently a thread gains another page after 15 posts. I suggest changing this into a larger number. I think 56K modem (and if anybody has a slower one he realy needs to change it anyhow now that it costs $15) can handle at least twice that posts at once.

I think there should be a link forum or section where you could post good links or maybe have links sticky in every section of the forum, like in sports I will make links about russian soccer etc you guys get my point.... ;D

When we talk about sections, how about creating one called for example "discussion in Slavic languages" where articles in Slavic languages would be posted? I know, a strange idea...

That would be just fragmentation. If we had a few hundred posts per day it would make sense to have more sections, but like this it would just mean you would waste time having to browse through half a dozen sections for just a post or two in each.
But I like Demokrat`s idea, since it would probably somewhat boost the usage of our languages on this forum. And we certainly need to use our languages more, to attract people from our Slavic homelands to this forum. Currently we mostly get Slavs in diaspora wanting to get in touch with their roots.

I know about it, Boris, but on the other hand I've seen a couple of these Proboards forums entiredly in other languages than English and so far nothing seems to be wrong with them. When you create your own website, you also have to agree that it's content won't be explicit and nobody really gives a damn about it...

The problem with different language sections is that only so many of us speak a certain language, for example there are only 4 Czechoslovaks here including myself....Many Russians&Ukrainians, so we could have a Russian section, and I think enough Serbs to have a Serbian section....But probably only 4-5 Poles here...
So I dunno if seperate language sections would be worth it?

I think they would be worth it, because not all Slavs know how to speak English and therefore many other potential members can't participate in the discussion... If there were separate language sections, they would soon build a stable member base. But things can get out of control easily. We would need to monitor the discussion in the separate sections by our long-time members that can speak the language of the section...
