Why are they 100x100 px?
Even the surrounding section can handle image much wider, this way avatars look squshed.

Personal avatars that appear in upper left of every post. Mine is a man+book+flames.
I notice ChornyVolk has his wider than 100px but I presume that was grandfathered in.
I remember when avatars started appearing squshed all of a sudden.
