What is more I have to add that Polish people also think they are the leading nation among all the Slavs Hello Dave, I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with the typical Polish mentality. Could you expand on your comment?

That's not my concern, since I can't change that. Macedonia, Poland, Czech republic etc. voluntarily joined the NATO pact, nobody forced them to do so. They could have allied themselves with Russia but they chose not to do so, because of "Anti-Sovietism". Now they "reap the wheat that they, themselves sowed." Well it must be your concern because maybe not directly but somehow it affect in your country. By the way if you keep Kosovo I am gonna drown in bear that you are buying

Could you expand on your comment? It's all about our history. In 17th century - most Polish Szlachta (Nobles & gentry) thought and were convinced that their role was to be the guardians of freedom and Catholicism. Poland throughtout its history was the most liberal and free-minded country in Europe. That's why we considered ourselves as the chosen nation among the brutalized European countries ruled by the powerfull monarchs. The partition of Poland once again proved that Poles are blessed - the greatest Polish poet of his times - Adam Mickiewicz - created the Polish martyrology and claimed that Polish people are like Jesus - they have to suffer for other nations. These factors are still very important part of our behaviour and the way of thinking. Ah yes and hello Slavski

The Jews bitch and moan about the discrimination they faced from Poles during WWII..but, they should have respected Poland's tolerance instead of forcing Poles hostage as slaves for their Jewish Soviet Union...that's what they get..the most hated people on the face of the Earth.

Another pointless discussion. It reminds me of the question "If there is no chance which person of your family do you prefer to die - your mother or your father?".

Since I am half Slavic, I have always declared myself a "3rd generation Czech/slavic" or "English with Czech origins" but not a Slav.
I have always downplayed my english roots as they were not present from my birth to my adult life. I also carry on my family's slavic surname and one of my forenames is slavic. The only thing I lack in Slavic heritage is the slavic mother tongue of my family. Thankfully though, language is learnt not genetic.

We are just to mixed and the only thing that devide us is the language. Look at America. Nigers, Chinese, Mexicans, Indians, English men, Germans,Irish some of them hardly even speak English but they all call them self Americans. Actually language is one of the first things which UNITES us. Slavic people can understand each other without a translator, our languages are dialects of one common language and these dialects are much closer then German dialects for example. The other thing is that almost noone tries to know other Slavic languages in a proper way, and Slavic history isn't taught in schools, so generally Slavic patriotism is on the way to disappear IMHO, especially when Slavic countries enter EU where the culture aspect is being wiped off and Slavic heritage is not what Europe really needs IMHO As for me, I consider myself as a Slav, as I'm mixed in my origins, but it's all Slavic mixture But of course as I live in Russia, Russian things prevail, as culture, history, language, but anyway I'm still Slavic

My advise to everybody is that we need to start getting organaized we need to start making real groups in real life not just on the internet and then we can start our own slavic paramilitary army that goes and fight in any slavic country that are under attack. Wake up people we must act now before its to late.
