Slavic Nationalism and Slavija

It is of utmost importance to lay out in a concise way the ideas of Slavic Nationalism and of Slavija as a group. The first and most important question to be answered is what precisely unites all the Slavic people into a single group. We believe it is the following.
We are Slavs and all of us are descendants of a single Slavic tribe, our culture, our Slavic soul, and our Christian values are all things that we have in common and were passed down to us from our common Slavic ancestors. At Slavija we believe that we should all work together more in order to defend our common interests and our values against the enemies of Slavdom. Likewise we believe in closer cooperation in cultural and social affairs, as well as the general development of friendship and fraternity between all the Slavic people.
From these basic concepts naturally comes a larger idea of Slavic Nationalism, which we see as the following. Slavic nationalism is a Slavophile philosophy, which emphasizes the importance of Slavic culture and way of thinking for the survival of the Slavic people. Our philosophy recognizes all Slavic people have a great deal in common, our language, culture, and heritage. At the same time our existence as a people is constantly threatened, by outside forces that over thousands of years have demonstrated their desire to destroy our people and culture. These forces similarly do not hesitate to turn one Slavic nation against another for gain and profit. In today's world to survive (both culturally and genetically) out nations need to recognize that the ONLY other people that share their interests are their Slavic brethren. Therefore Slavic solidarity is the best chance we have to survive and prosper as Slavs. Slavic nationalism is the natural extension and companion to ethnic Slavic nationalisms (Russian, Polish, Serbian, etc) because it above all emphasizes self-determinations of Slavs, the importance of our unique traditional culture, and the worth of the Slavic people as a race.
This brings us to the concept behind Slavija as a group. We see our mission as twofold. First we are a think tank, we publish various information that is of common interests to Slavic people. Second we want to act as a larger umbrella organization whose purpose is to bring together patriotic Slavic individuals and organization to a common table to constructively discuss and further understand each other's point of view in order to bring about more cooperation and coordination. Slavija itself is built on principles of Slavic brotherhood with members of various Slavic nationalities.
