I would but i think the time of Slavic paramilitaries has passed. Those were the days of the 90s. Mainly peace in Jugoslavija and Chechnya now. These are the conflicts i know of. THe only other arising is with Albanians in Kosovo and Macedonia

Pravoslav,
I'm afraid you are kidding yourself. Bosnia may blow up again, and Crimea is potentially the new Chechnya.

Slavic paramilitaries were and will be. We don't live in times of peace, maybe it looks like it, but it's not. Its just a matter of time when a great war or a major conflict comes.

I would if I was permitted but due to medical grounds I dont think any army or militia would have me, as I have tried joining the army but was rejected on not having accepted minimum vision in left eye.

I was rejected from the army too (same reason), but with modern contact lenses you can still be a partisan / paramilitary without too much trouble.

Pravoslav, I'm afraid you are kidding yourself. Bosnia may blow up again, and Crimea is potentially the new Chechnya. I read an article that said the current crisis in Bosnia is being exaggerated by the USA to hold Bosnia together and rush through Lacjak's reforms. I'll try and find it and post it here. I'll be honest and say i don't know the situation in the Crimea, but Janukovich lost the Ukrainian elections and the Orange Coalition is back in charge. Will they allow a situation of war to develop, after all they are pro-West? EDIT: Mikhail, here is the article and only 1 perspective on the Bosnian crisis that i was talking about. Please read it carefully: www.iht.com/articles/2007/11/19/europe/bosnia.php?page=2

I hope we keep up that spirit

Please read it carefully: www.iht.com/articles/2007/11/19/europe/bosnia.php?page=2Thanks for the article. Regarding Crimea, the nationalist government in Kiev has been encouraging Tatar separatism in Crimea, as a counterbalance against the Russian majority there. Land grabs, etc. Now the situation is spiralling out of control.
