The administration of the History and Anthropology Forum of Ukraine have the honour to invite the members of this forum to take part in our conversations  Among others, there are the separate sections on the Slav's history (3 subsections) and on the Slav's anthropology. The sections on ethnography, genetics, psychology, archeology etc. are presented as well. The conversation is possible using every Slav language, or English. Looks promising, though I have hard time understanding Ukrainian, but if I try harder I can see some resemblance with Russian

No problems, Vladimir  For example, you may speak native Serbian. I think Ukrainians will understand it clearly, especially Serbian Kirillitsa. Some of them use Russian (tere are some texts in Russian as well), but yes - majority use Ukrainian. However, I have understood one thing: every Slav understands at least the main idea of the text in other Slav language. I had such possibility to assure this thing, when I was reading Slovenian Wikipedia - the language has been totally unkown to me before, but it seemed to me I understood almost everything  By the way, Serbian and Ukrainian has common features, which are not present in Russian, especially in vocabulary and some in grammar.

There is a need for a common written slavic language - can I suggest Church Slavonic with transliteration into the unwieldy Latin script when necessary.

kyrillic font will not appear in this forum for me. dont know why... see: íè÷åãî! <-- this is how it appears when i use Russian kyrillica on here

I see it without a problem, if you got Firefox try: View/Character Encoding/Cyrillic problem solved
