Yeah but what happened next? The Czechoslovakian patriots alwasy had support from the West, especially with money. The communistic regime there was not steady. I dont want to disappoint you but even Velvet Revolution in 1989 was directed by StB (communist secret police), they even aranged dead student during the revolution to speed things up. And why? To legally steal some vast property after deal with such "disidents" as Havel and others. In short they turned from red to blue, cause they lost back up of SU and with some minor corrections gained support of US. Exactly the same happened in Bulgaria. Unfortunately our communists were far more bad - the worst types of communists.

Really?? ;D Look at this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3YZ_p_bHFUYes - there are many people in MKD with Bulgarian identity (those who were not affected by the yugoslavian propaganda). And do you know what? They are growing in numbers!Bugaraskiot virus ke se vrati.

The Poles 'concentrate' on what they deem worth concentrating on, and they don't need the Czechs or Slovaks to advise them. Poles and Hungarians are brothers, as the saying in both languages goes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YJVO6jPaR0www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9FbqTZGAIUHungarians feel sympathy also for Bulgarians, because 1) they don't have a common border and 2) Romania has taken territory from both: www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-EUSRLgDVgwww.youtube.com/watch?v=MCUEK1Kuvi4The Hungarian Prime Minister committed suicide when he was forced by the Germans to rescind the alliance with Yugoslavia at the beginning of WWII. At the same time, the superSlavic Soviet Russia shared the spoils of Poland with Germany (unless you guys will say that USSR was secretely ruled by Jews who loved Nazi Germany so much that they pushed for the Ribbentrop-Molotov agreement). And why don't the Slavs 'concentrate' also on the inter-Slavic oppression too: Ukrainians and Belorussians oppressed by Poles in the Rzeczpospolita, Macedonians and Croats and Slovenes and Muslim Bosnians sidelined by Serbs in Yougoslavia, and all Slavs oppressed more or less directly by Mother Russia in Soviet times? Plus the kind treatment by the former Yugoslav peoples of each other during the wars in the 1990s, for good measure? A little decency and effort for objectivity wouldn't harm. Slavs are not to be insulted on this forum, but it would be fair-play not to insult the non-Slavs either.

There is no doubt that the Hungarians absorbed large amounts of Slavic blood. However, in language they are "not Slavic" but by blood it might be another story. As for Russians..any Russian who says they hate Poles, Polish are rats, etc.. are probably Jews in disguise, as they would wish to break apart the growing feeling of Slavic brotherhood.

I know such Russians and they are not jews. They react such way on talks when some Poles say "Soviets are not better than Hitler" about WWII. But more often I face Polish hatred towards Russia and Russians. I've already posted on this forum that I had problems with some people during my stay in Poland. I often see anti-Russian Polish comments on youtube. Especialy such comments insult me when I see them under videos about Chechnya. I don't have hatred towards Poles. Maybe because of my blood which is partially Polish. Our mutual relations are rather difficuilt maybe because of our history which wasn't calm. Despite of everything I respect Poland, it's history, it's contribution in the world culture and science. And I hope for the better relations between our nations. Fuck these politicians. I mean the relations between people.

It's totally new to me that some Hungarians consider themselves to be Turks. That's somehow sick.

The "Hungarian question" is not an easy one, but here's some info clearing it up more From its inception in the 10th century, Hungary was a multiethnic country. Major territorial changes made it ethnically homogeneous after World War I, however, and more than nine-tenths of the population is now ethnically Hungarian and speaks Hungarian (Magyar) as the mother tongue. The Hungarian language is classified as a member of the Ugric branch of the Uralic languages; as such, it is most closely related to the Ob-Ugric languages, Khanty and Mansi, which are spoken east of the Ural Mountains. It is also related, though more distantly, to Finnish and Estonian, each of which is (like Hungarian) a national language; to the Sami languages of far northern Scandinavia; and, more distantly still, to the Samoyedic languages of Siberia. Ethnic Hungarians are a mix of the Finno-Ugric Magyars and various assimilated Turkic, Slavic, and Germanic peoples. A small percentage of the population is made up of ethnic minority groups. The largest of these is the Roma (Gypsies). Other ethnic minorities include Germans, Slovaks, Croats, Romanians, Serbs, Poles, Slovenians, Rusyns, Greeks, and Armenians. www.britannica.com/eb/article-34836/HungarySo, I guess it's safe to say that Hungarians are "mutts"

I couldn't believe that some Polish would hate other Slavs and be perfectly acceptive of Germans...

I don't consider the Hungarians a Slavic people. They are not. Hungarians are Finno-Ugric people from Ural.

That's why Poland lived centuries under Russian and German occupation. To be honest these traditional "enemies" were actually good partners in torturing the poor Poles. The Poles are brave people. They managed to resist the monstrous assimilation politics of their powerful neighbours - The Russian empire and the German Reich and preserved their native language, traditions, folk customs. They deserve respect for that.
